Jim Cramer’s Stop Trading: Stay In Celegene (NASDAQ:CELG) For Revlimid

Jarden Corporation (NYSE:JAH) totally delivered,” Jim Cramer said on Monday’s “Stop Trading” segment, “and it’s not done going up.” He pointed out that Jarden reported fourth-quarter revenues that came in above Wall Street expectations. The news pushed the stock higher on a day where markets traded flat. The company also said it plans to issue $400 million in bonds, which Cramer said should be very successful. He mentioned that Jarden has cut back on the M&A spending, choosing to focus instead on growing its brands.  Regardless, Cramer said Jarden is just like Chattem Inc. (NASDAQ:CHTT), Warner Chilcott Plc (NASDAQ:WCRX) and The J.M. Smucker Company (NYSE:SJM), which have all thrived through acquisitions. Cramer pointed out that Jarden has around 46% of the shelf space in the appliance section at Target Corp. (NYSE:TGT), which shows how massive its portfolio of brands truly is. Moving on to the financial sector, Associate Banc-Corp (NASDAQ:ASBC) reported a wider fourth-quarter loss on Monday, sending the stock down 6.8%. “ASBC has been a loser,” Cramer said, “but I want everyone in the firm’s coming secondary offering.” Cramer also likes ASBC’s tier 1 capital position and the fact that the company took necessary charges. “I think they get a second chance,” he said. Finally, Cramer commented on Celegene Corp. (NASDAQ:CELG) which reported preliminary fourth-quarter and full-year earnings that were in-line with Wall Street estimates, although its fiscal 2010 revenue guidance missed expectations. He told viewers the focus should be on the company’s number one product Revlimid, which saw a big sales boost in the fourth-quarter and full year. Cramer said that boost is reason enough to stay in the stock. “Will you read the whole thing before you take action,” he said. “Because this was a monster good number.”  Get the scoop on tomorrow’s hottest trade ideas – TODAY!
