Jim Cramer’s Stop Trading: Buy WellPoint Inc. (NYSE:WLP) & Alliant Techsystems (NYSE:ATK)

“As the Senate gets one step closer to passing healthcare, I would be a buyer of all healthcare stocks,” Jim Cramer said on Monday’s “Stop Trading!” segment on CNBC. He recommended WellPoint Inc. (NYSE:WLP) as one healthcare stock he can get behind. Cramer told viewers he isn’t buying the hype that the snowstorm that drilled the North East this weekend is going to hurt holiday sales. “It’s all nonsense,” he said. “A bunch of lies. This is an online Christmas; it has been and only got accentuated by the storm.” He said there was nothing left on Urban Outfitters Inc. (NASDAQ:URBN)’s Web site and Saks Inc. (NYSE:SKS)’s second biggest part of its business is its online unit. Cramer also likes V.F. Corporation (NYSE:VF), which he holds in his charitable trust. The company makes Northface apparel, which is a top seller in cold weather. Moving on to the food sector, Treehouse Foods Inc. (NYSE:THS) surged over 14% in afternoon trading, after the firm announced it had purchased Sturm Foods. Cramer said he liked the move and sees the deal boosting earnings per share. Finally, he told investors to put Alliant Techsystems (NYSE:ATK) on their radar. “The company has been buying back stock consistently,” Cramer said. “It is a very cheap stock.”  Get the scoop on tomorrow’s hottest trade ideas – TODAY!
