Jim Cramer’s Stop Trading – Buy Goldman Sachs Group/Avoid JPMorgan

Cramer highlighted the 18-point move higher for Goldman as a sign of health in an otherwise distressed banking sector. Cramer currently holds shares of Goldman in his charitable trust. Moving on to a few financial stock he does not like, Cramer said avoid BB&T (BBT) and JPMorgan (JPM). He explained that the deal between JPMorgan and Bear Stearns has no synergies and isn’t working. Finally, Cramer said he’s bullish on power generation firm NRG Energy (NRG) due to strong demand for power in the U.S.
