Jim Cramer’s Stop Trading
Buy Yum! Brands (YUM), Jim Cramer said on CNBC’s “Stop Trading!” show Thursday. Cramer explained that Yum Brands, which owns Kentucky Fried Chicken, is a great way to play China because the Chinese consumer is pro-protein. For a play on India, Cramer picked Sterlite (SLT). He said the company made a good decision to buy the bankruptcy assets of copper producer Asarco. “I would buy aggressively right here. It’s come down and that acquisition is going to prove to be a brilliant one,” he said. Cramer told viewers to buy Vale (RIO) with the stock six points off its 52-week high. He explained that Vale is a great play on China and its cheaper than Petrobras (PBR). Lastly, Cramer told “Mad Money” fans to consider Monsanto (MON). He said the company’s new seeds should send the stock to $150.
