Cramer took some time to respond to an interview of Steven Rattner that appeared Portfolio magazine. Rattner said that Cramer doesn’t tell investors to sell stocks. Cramer noted that he dedicates an entire segment (SELL BLOCK) to telling investors to sell stocks. “I’m telling you to sell all the time,” Cramer said. During last week’s “Sell Block” Cramer told investors to sell Darden (DRI) and avoid Nike (NKE) and Research In Motion (RIMM) ahead of their earnings calls. He now thinks investors should buy NKE and RIMM and take advantage of the post earnings declines. Cramer also told viewers to sell ConAgra (CAG) and RiteAId (RAD). Finally, Cramer said avoid the retail space specifically with stocks like J.C. Penny (JCP), Sears (SHLD), Kohl’s (KSS) and Dick’s (DKS). Bottom line, Cramer makes plenty of sell calls and Steven Rattner is ignoring the facts. Chat and share ideas with the best small cap traders LIVE each day free at Stocknetworkonline.com
