Jim Cramer’s Game Plan

“After a big down day, I’m urging you to not get discouraged and to start picking among the rubble,” Jim Cramer told fans of his “Mad Money” TV show Friday. Cramer reminded viewers that when the market experienced a big sell-off during the first week of March he recommended four stocks that had reported great quarters – General Cable (BGC), Chemed (CHE), First Solar (FSLR) and Akamai (AKAM). Fast froward four weeks later and the group was up an average of 16%, beating the S&P 500’s performance over the same time frame. Cramer said investors should use the same strategy now and buy stock in companies that have recently reported great quarters and have seen their share prices fall. His picks are Walmart (WMT), a stock which Cramer owns for his charitable trust, Brown-Forman (BFB), Copart (CPRT) and Integra Lifesciences (IART).
