Cramer’s Stop Trading: Buy T, VZ & CEPH
“I think AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) and Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ) are in a bull market mode now,” Jim Cramer said on a recent “Stop Trading!” segment. He mentioned that AT&T is promoting its new Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) application called Mark the Spot, which collects users complaints about poor service like a dropped call or data failure. The app has risen to the No. 6 spot as the most popular iPhone tool. “While AT&T and Verizon are boring stocks, they both offer better dividend yields than US Treasurys. I also think the dividends are going higher, “Cramer said. Moving on to the biotech sector, Cramer told viewers that the stock to watch during the American Society of Hematology conference is Cephalon Inc. (NASDAQ:CEPH). He said the company’s first-line treatment for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma isn’t priced into the stock yet. “Historically Cephalon has delivered numbers and new products and they are non-promotional,” Cramer said. “I like the stock.” Finally, Cramer took a fresh look at New York Community Bancorp Inc. (NYSE:NYB) now that the stock has fallen below $13, which was the expected secondary offering price. Considering that NYB has boosted its capital reserves, Cramer said the stock is getting more interesting. Get the scoop on tomorrow’s hottest trade ideas – TODAY!
