CEO Interview Clean Energy Fuels
Cramer spoke with Andrew Littlefair, president and CEO of Clean Energy Fuels (CLNE) about his company’s future with natural gas and crude oil at $50 a barrel. Littlefair said the world of transportation is changing. He said even with diesel fuel at $2.71 a gallon, Clean Energy can provide a clean source of natural gas for $2.15 a gallon. He told viewers that the natural gas model will work long term and he thinks oil will be higher again. Cramer asked Littlefar about the firms low cash reserves. He said the company doesn’t burn any cash for operations, and uses its reserves for capital expenditures for building new fueling stations. Clean Energy now trades for $3.50 and has around $1.50 of cash per share. However, the company has a total of $66 million in cash but also has a burn rate of $15 million a quarter. Cramer said he’s still bullish on Clean Energy and when oil goes back up the company should benefit. Join the fastest growing community of small cap investors at Stockhideout.com
