A caller asked Cramer which construction-equipment stocks benefit from hurricanes. Cramer said to buy Lowes LOW.
Whole Foods/Best Buy
Cramer stated that the analysts were wrong about downgrading WFMI. Cramer told Mad Money viewers that if they want to beat the market they can’t follow the analysts because they’re the market and the herd follows them. Cramer thinks WFMI still has a lot of upside to go. Cramer also pointed out that analysts were wrong on Best Buy BBY. Cramer told viewers to buy Best Buy off the downgrade.
Terex Pick Of The Week
Cramer stated tonight that investors should start backing up the truck and buying Terex TEX. Cramer stated that TEX trades at eight times next years earnings and that is cheap. The company still needs to file its financial, so that could be the reason it sells so cheap Cramer stated. Also the company is currently restating. Cramer stated he isn’t worried about any accounting problems with TEX.
Skype Isn’t Just Hype
Cramer told viewers that all of the land-line companies should be sold now. He gave out (VZ), (SBC), (BLS), and (Q). Cramer stated that Skype a free software program that allows consumers to call other users for free is killing the land-line business. Skype currently has 141 million users. Cramer also stated that the cable companies are hurting the land-line business with VOIP services.
Herbal Medicine
Cramer sat down and chatted with Herb Greenberg. Greenberg cautioned about ISRG. Saying they have done a great job getting to where they are but their equiptment isnt essential. Cramer chimed in with the philosophy that after such big gains on the stock investors would be silly not to ring the register. Two other stocks were mentioned, FOXH and STXS both of which Cramer and Greenberg agreed were vulnerable to competition.
Shoot’em Up
Lawmakers are getting ready to pass a new bill that will make gunmakers big winners. The bill will ease concerns from gunmakers that come with crippling lawsuits, kill fees that gun manufacturers have paid in insurance and legal fees. Look at RGR who’s sales have grown by 8.2% this year and has a 4.38% dividend, along with SWB who has expanded their rifle business a great deal.
